Puppy Classes
Little Houndlings
Puppy Classes are fun, structured sessions designed to give young dogs the best possible start in life. There are a total of 5 classes spread over 5 weeks, being one 45 minute session a week for 5 weeks. These classes focus on teaching essential skills, good manners, and positive socialisation in a calm, supportive environment – helping both puppies and owners feel confident and capable.
During the sessions, puppies learn foundational commands such as sit, stay, recall, and walking politely on the lead, while also practising calm, friendly behaviour around people and other dogs. The emphasis is on positive reinforcement, patience, and building trust, ensuring learning is enjoyable and stress-free for both you and your puppy.
Socialisation is a key part of puppy classes. By safely introducing your puppy to different people, dogs, and environments, they develop confidence and adaptability – helping to prevent common behavioural issues later in life. Classes also provide owners with practical guidance on managing everyday challenges such as nipping, chewing, and over-excitement, so you can establish a strong foundation of good habits at home.
By the end of the course, your puppy will not only have learned essential skills, but will also be more confident, happy, and well-balanced.
